Privacy
Margin helps trading-card vendors price cards, track inventory, and run shows. This page explains what data the app touches and why, in plain English.
What we collect
- Your account. When you sign up we store your email address — or, if you use Sign in with Apple or Google, the identifier they share with us. Authentication is handled by Supabase, our backend provider.
- Your booth data. The cards, shows, deals, and transactions you enter are synced to our database (hosted by Supabase in the United States) so your account works if you get a new phone. This data belongs to you and is only ever shown to you.
- A push token, if you turn on price alerts. That's what lets us send the notification. Nothing else rides along with it.
What we don't do
- No ads, and no ad networks in the app.
- We never sell your data or share it with data brokers.
- No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. We can't watch what you do in the app, and we don't want to.
- No cookies or tracking on this website either.
Where prices and card images come from
Market prices, sales history, and card images are fetched from TCGPlayer through our own server. Your personal data is never sent to them — the app only asks about cards, not about you.
Payments
Margin Pro subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through your App Store account. We never see your payment details.
The scanner and your photos
The card scanner recognizes cards on your device. Photos you snap stay on your phone — they are not uploaded or synced.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account inside the app (You → Settings → Danger Zone). That removes your account and synced booth data from our servers. If you'd rather we do it, email us and we will.
